Our Story

When a renowned Taiwanese hairstylist's cherished scissors were damaged, he sought help far and wide. After numerous suggestions led him to a master scissors maker in Taichung, Taiwan, he traveled there to plead for restoration. The master technician took on the challenging task and successfully revived the scissors. The hairstylist, inspired by this craftsmanship, proposed a business venture, giving birth to the Ohka brand in 1999.
